My Practice
I have always wanted to be an attorney so that I would possess the skills to help others. My father was an attorney and as a young child I watched as he solved a variety of legal problems for others. I graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in 1996, after passing the Florida Bar I worked as a prosecutor in Pinellas County. During my three year tenure I have tried numerous jury and non-jury trials.
In 1999 I decided to expand my legal experience and worked as General Counsel for one of the largest independent insurance agency's in the State of Florida. In 2001 I decided to "hang my own shingle" and open a general practice. Since 2001, my law practice has grown considerably, mostly by word of mouth. The majority of my law practice now consists of family law, business and corporate law, administrative law and traffic.
I believe what sets me apart from other lawyers is the fact that I always deal directly with my clients. I am always readily accessible and make sure my clients are always informed about their case and what to expect in the near future. As a rule I do not have a staff of paralegals working for me. I like to give each case my total and personal attention. My clients do not feel like a number but rather people with problems that they are willing to allow me to handle for them. A client who hires me to represent them in any matter should be reassured that they are not alone and that I am making every effort to provide the best representation possible in their case.
